住灣仔真的很方便... revenue tower, immigration tower, home affairs department 全部都係灣仔... 行都行到去... XD 

In order to withdraw MPF earlier, will require to check the requirement from your insurance company as they may have different procedures.  Normally it will take around 30 days to proceed.

Documents required from Manulife (my insurance company) for Permanent departure from Hong Kong.

1. Identity document (e.g. HK ID Card)
2. Claim form for payment of accrued benefits on ground of Permanent Departure from Hong Kong / Total Incapacity / Terminal Illness / Small Balance / Death  [MPF(S) – W(O)]
3. Statutory declaration form [MPF(S) – W(SD2)]
4. Documentary proof satisfying the trustee that you are permitted to reside in a place outside Hong Kong 
5. Letter of Release (if applicable)

For Point 2. in above, will require to go to make declaration/oath at any Home Affairs Department

The whole process is fast and smooth (take me less than 30 mins), just present the declaration form - [MPF(S) – W(SD2)] and they will give you the speech for oath/declaration.  You will need to stand up and make the oath as a matter of respect and they will sign and chop on the form.  

*pls note if the form is in chinese, then the information must be filled in chinese* XD

After all documents are completed and checked million times, it's been sent out by post immediately in the same day!

補充一下: 支票在May 30已經收到了 (因為只寄香港地址所以拜托我妹妹幫我收&入票... 我們剛到達Vancouver! Pretty fast!
